One Marylebone ,
One Marylebone formally Holy Trinity Church was built in 1826-28 to the designs of Sir John Soane to celebrate the defeat of Napoleon. Grade I listed by English Heritage, One Marylebone Road is one of only three London churches by Soane, it was the most expensive and now considered to be the most architecturally distinguished.
The Soane Hall is the jewel in the crown of One Marylebone. Over 27 foot high and approximately 3,000 sq feet, the room is impressive in size as well as beauty. Although full of character with its mosaics and stained glass windows the space remains flexible allowing clients to either enjoy it in its natural state or alter it to fit any requirements of style and branding.
The East Gallery, approximately 1200 sq foot, is situated on the first floor. It can be hired by itself or used as an additional space with The Soane Hall downstairs. Seven handmade crystal chandeliers decorate the room which has an elegance all of its own. With its floor to ceiling windows, lunches and day time events are perfectly suited although it is equally stunning for evening events and never fails to impress!
Running alongside the building is a secret garden which is the perfect addition to your event if you need that extra bit of space or is ideal as an event area by itself. Whether a summer wedding under a stunning marquee, a balmy evening drinks party or additional exhibition space the Garden can offer it all.
